What Is Taking These Couples So Long To Get Married?

We have done some research and have been wondering why some of these celebrity couples are staying engaged for years at a time and appear to be in no rush to plan their weddings? We have decided to put these couples on blast, in hopes that they will speed up their planning process. Why? Because we LOVE a great celebrity wedding!

 Naomi Watts and Liev Shreiber

In 2006, this couple announced their engagement -- that was 6 years ago! We think that their kids Sasha and Samuel would love being a part of their parents wedding.  Do it for the kids Naomi and Liev! (Photo via US Weekly)

Chad Michael Murray and Kenzie Dalton

After Chad's brief 5 month marriage to Sophia Bush back in 2005, Chad Michael Murray quickly became engaged to then 18-year-old Kenzie Dalton. That was back in 2006, 6 years ago. We think that Kenzie will be a gorgeous bride and Chad a handsome groom, now what's taking them so long? (Photo via Just Jared)

Amy Adams and Darren LeGallo

Amy Adams and Darren LeGallo have been a couple for an entire decade! They first got together back in 2002 and became engaged in 2008. We know that they had a daughter back in 2010, but we know Amy has lost all the baby weight since then -- What's your excuse now Amy?  (Photo Via People)

Drew Barrymore Marries Will Kopelman!

We saw her trying on veils and leaving a final dress fitting with best pal Cameron Diaz -- and now, Drew Barrymore is finally married! The actress exchanged vows with her fiancé of five months, Will Kopelman, Saturday evening at the star's Montecito, California home, Us Weekly reports

The traditional Jewish ceremony, which was officiated by Will's rabbi and included a custom-made chuppah (or canopy), was described to People as "a classic, simple, very-pretty, garden-inspired" affair.

Drew, 37, and Will, 34, reportedly both wore Chanel -- a highly-predicted choice, as Will's father is the former CEO of the luxury design house. Photos have yet to be released of the much-anticipated gown, but sources tell Us Weekly that the bride wore a "long white dress in pleated muslin and organza," custom-designed by Karl Lagerfeld himself and complete with floral, organza, muslin, tulle and feather embroidery. Wow!

As for accessories, Drew is said to have worn a black satin belt to accentuate her waist (and alleged baby bump), along with Chanel Fine Jewelry to finish the look.

According to E! Online, guests enjoyed a pre-ceremony cocktail party on the lawn and were ushered into the tent for an "emotional" service. After Drew and Will posed for photos in the garden, everyone gathered for an intimate reception, where they danced to an '80s tribute band (inspired by Drew's favorite era).

Celebrity guests included BFF and Charlie's Angels co-star Cameron Diaz, Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth, Drew's Fever Pitch co-star Jimmy Fallon and his wife Nancy Jujoven, and Busy Phillips and husband Marc Silverstein.

At the end of the night, the couple made a romantic exit, riding off in an old classic convertible Mercedes (with the top up!) that was decorated with pink roses and ribbons.

Congrats to Drew and Will!

Is Snooki Engaged?

Snooki-1-300Is a Jersey Shore wedding in the works? After reports surfaced last week that Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is pregnant, the reality-star, 24, now appears to also be planning a walk down the aisle.

Snooki, who is expecting her first child with boyfriend Jionni LaValle later this year, was photographed Monday sporting some serious bling on her ring-finger.

The diamond, which looks to be a pink square-cut design, helped to fuel rumors spun earlier this week when a source confirmed that LaValle had indeed popped the question.

Talks of tying the knot is nothing new for the tanned duo; "I know he's the one so I know the ring's gonna come soon,” Snooki told People less than two months ago. “He knows it should be big, cuz if it's small I'm saying no. Like, 'Get another ring!' "

We think Snooki will be happy with this one.

Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa Engaged!

Model Amber Rose and rapper Wiz Khalifa are now engaged, reports Us Weekly.

The couple set the Twitter world abuzz Thursday morning when both tweeted pics of Rose’s gorgeous oval-shaped diamond.

“He has made me the Happiest Woman in the World!!!!” Rose gushed. Khalifa confirmed his excitement on Twitter: “She Said Yes!!!”

Rose, 28, and Grammy-nominated artist Khalifa, 24, started dating just over a year ago, following Rose’s infamous 2010 breakup with Kanye West.

The couple has been anything but private about their relationship.  At the Grammy Awards last month (when Khalifa lost out to West for best rap song) Rose implied to E! that marriage was in the future. “We want to get married. We’re just taking our time.”

The duo tweeted cute-sy shout-outs to each other throughout the day on Thursday. “Love Is Everywhere,” Khalifa wrote, with Rose later announcing, “This is the happiest Day of my Life #LoveisBeautiful.”

Dating Site for the "Aesthetically Challenged"

You know how your mother always told you "don't just a book by its cover"? Well now, there's an Internet dating site designed with that in mind. The Ugly Bug Ball is a new dating site targeted at those who are "aesthetically challenged" (their words, not ours). And, according to recent reports, they've now scored their first engagement.

Tom Clifford, who has been single since 1998, started using the website when he stumbled across Janine Walker's profile (pictured in inset above). He sent her a message in August, and now, just four dates later, the two are engaged, reports So, even if you have a "face that makes children cry" (Tom's words, not ours), turns out there's someone out there just for you.

"I always thought that I was too ugly to meet Mrs Right but my life changed when I met Janine," Tom told the UK's Telegraph.

The site offers plenty of that ugly people make better dates, including the idea that "Ugly people are a better calibre of human -- pretty people generally aren’t very nice and tend to be a bit shallow" and "Ugly people have had a tougher life and therefore tend to be more considerate and more loyal."

While we're not exactly into the idea of calling one another "ugly" -- we have to admit, it's always great to see people getting engaged because they really love each other's personalities. Go Tom and Janine!

Support Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Bcawareness2 It may seem like celebrities can have anything, but if there's one thing we all share, it's the likelihood of losing a close friend or a family member in our lifetime to cancer. Recently, stars like Christina Applegate and Sheryl Crow, have spoken out about their own breast cancer struggles. If you'd like to give back or just simply honor someone special, who suffers from the disease, on your wedding day, check out these fabulous gift options:

For Your Bridesmaids: Some of the biggest names in beauty are fighting the good fight to save millions of women from breast cancer. Both Avon and Estee Lauder have been raising awareness and funding for breast cancer research for over a decade. You can lend your support by purchasing your bridesmaids' gifts through either of these companies. Some of our favorite items include the glamorously pink Evelyn Lauder Lip Collection ($22), and Avon's sparkly-but-comfy Breast Cancer Rhinestone Flip-Flops ($10). A hundred percent of your purchase goes directly to Avon's Breast Cancer Crusade.

For Your Guests: In lieu of traditional wedding favors, treat your guests to a gift that gives back. WeddingFavorBar.comIn Favor of a Cure breast cancer products include pink ribbon plantable wildflower favors, frosted pink photo frames, and pink ribbon favor boxes. Ten percent of all proceeds go to two national breast cancer charities.

For the Bride and Groom: They say charity starts at home, and there's no better way to prove that then by
creating a charity registry. Simply log on to and register for your charity of choice. You can either opt to have your guests donate in your name, or you can ask that WeddingChannel donate a small percentage towards every gift that is purchased through the site by one of your guests. Both the American Cancer Society and The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation are represented, but if you'd prefer to lend your support in a more direct way, you can go straight to either site to donate or purchase gifts. (FYI: We think every bride-to-be needs the Betty Crocker "Celebrating the Promise" limited edition cookbook.)
