MSNBC Host Thomas Roberts Marries Partner

People broke the story that MSNBC host Thomas Roberts, has married his longtime partner Patrick Abner on Saturday at the Gansevoort Park Hotel in NYC.

 

Roberts broke down barriers when he was the first national TV anchor to "come out" and also the first cable news anchor to marry their same-sex partner.

 

The wedding was officiated by former San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom. Notable attendees included Chely Wright -- who sang for the couple’s first dance. MSNBC colleagues that attended were Phil Griffin, Tamron Hall,  and Chris Jansing, as well as Sam Champion, Nate Berkus and Carson Kressley.
