What Is Taking These Couples So Long To Get Married?

We have done some research and have been wondering why some of these celebrity couples are staying engaged for years at a time and appear to be in no rush to plan their weddings? We have decided to put these couples on blast, in hopes that they will speed up their planning process. Why? Because we LOVE a great celebrity wedding!

Jennifer Hudson's Wedding Planning Is Back On

Wedding planning for Jennifer Hudson and David Otunga is back on! We could not be more excited to hear that these two stars have begun planning their nuptials once again.

 

 

The couple got engaged back in September of 2008 when not even a month later, she experienced a family tragedy. (Her mother, brother and nephew were found murdered in their home in Chicago.) We can't even begin to comprehend what she has gone through and can completely understand why she had decided to push back the wedding. 

 

Well, it's been four years Jennifer -- and we can't wait to see what kind of gown you choose. You will be a beautiful bride!

Alec Baldwin is Sending Text Message Wedding Invitations

Details on Alec Baldwin's wedding are a bigger secret then any the C.I.A could keep.  Alec is planning on marrying 28-year-old yoga instructor, Hilaria Thomas sometime this week. 

 

According to the New York Post, the bride and groom have zero faith in their guests being able to keep details of their big day from the press. The couple has resorted to TEXT MESSAGING their guests the details (like where and when), the morning of.

 

I mean we already heard from severeal reports that they plan on walking down the aisle at St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral in New York City, so wouldn't paparazzi just wait outside the church every day this week to get that picture?  Seems like they are making this a bigger deal then it should be, I mean they aren't Brad and Angie -- What do you think?

Halle Berry's South African Beach Wedding...Our Dress Picks!

We have a hunch that Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez will be getting married this summer!

 

We know that they only confirmed their engagement in April, but we think they are planning a South African beach wedding. South Africa would be the perfect place for the couple to wed, as it was where the couple first met while filming their movie "Dark Tide" A beach wedding would fit Halle's laid-back personality and is a great choice for her third wedding.

Have our dreams finally come true?! Are Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux engaged?

 

On Monday, Justin and Jen returned to LA from a romantic European vacation with a new diamond ring on Jen's left ring finger. Rumors are circulating that the couple is officially engaged.

 

We think that this might be the real deal for America's Sweetheart. The couple has been together for over a year and we think that it was about time for an engagement. We could not be more excited to see how this story develops!

Zach Galifianakis Is Engaged!

Zach Galifianakis is engaged to Quinn Lundberg. The wedding is set for August 11th, in California. 

We also have discovered their Registry and it looks like they are asking for a set of coral sheets from Anthropologie (really Zach?) and donations to Gift Growing Voices, a charity Lundberg has helped co-found. Although we question the sheets, we love the charity aspect.

NCIS: Los Angeles Star Eric Christian Olsen Gets Married!

Another glamping celeb wedding took place over the weekend when NCIS: Los Angeles Star, Eric Christian Olsen said "I do" to longtime girlfriend Sarah Wright. According to People.com, the couple married in front of 80 family and friends, in an outdoor ceremony at Olsen's family's barn near Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Olsen's father officiated the ceremony.

 

The reception was full of down-home details. Guests played horseshoes and beanbag toss; the bride and groom danced the night away to music performed by a live bluegrass band; and guests were treated to a barbeque dinner complete with roasted marshmallows and s'mores over several fire pits.

 

The couple even opted out of a traditional wedding cake, and instead had their favorite dessert: Whitey's Ice Cream, FedExed in for the occasion from Iowa.

Details Behind Mrs. McConaughey’s Gorgeous Bridal Gown!

More details have emerged on the designer of the bride's beautiful lace gown.  The designer was Brazilian Ducarmo Castelo Branco, a 78 year-old family friend that created Camila Alves gown for the couple's at-home wedding in Austin, Texas.

 

According to People.com, Camila has known the designer personally since she was young.  "I guess you can say she has been planning this design for over 20 years," says Camila.

 

We are obsessed with the detailed long lace sleeves -- such a perfect fit for the couple's traditional Catholic Ceremony.  Not to mention right on trend for 2012 bridal fashion.

Are Brad and Angie Getting Married in the UK?

Rumors have been circulating that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will be tying the knot in an intimate ceremony in the United Kingdom, surrounded by their children and close family.

 

An insider has revealed to the DailyStar.co.uk: “They’re looking at Windsor register office, where Charles and Camilla and Elton John and David Furnish tied the knot. It allows same-sex marriages, something the couple passionately believe in.”

 

Angelina and Brad are currently both on location in the United Kingdom filming their new movies Maleficent and The Counselor. 

 

Our new best guess? An intimate courthouse wedding in the UK, followed by a larger reception at their estate in Provence, France.

VP Joe Biden's Daughter Got Married!

 

Wearing an ivory silk mermaid Vera Wang gown and a romantic lace veil, Ashley Biden, a social worker and daughter of vice president Joe Biden, married Philadelphia surgeon Dr. Howard David Krein at the same Delaware church where she was baptized, the Associated Press reports. 

 

After the ceremony at St. Joseph on the Brandywine Roman Catholic Church, the couple and an approximate 200 close friends and family gathered for a cozy reception at the Biden’s lakeside family home in Wilmington. According to People, guests enjoyed a backyard family-style dinner, which was prepared by the vice president himself!

 

As for the dress, an off-white stunner with a ruffled tulle hem and sheer straps, DelawareOnline.com reveals that Ashley kept it a secret from everyone, except her mother, Dr. Jill Biden, and maid of honor, her best friend since childhood. 

The couple was introduced in 2010 by Ashley’s older brother, Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden, and got engaged on a cliff (at sunset!) in California’s Big Sur last October.

 

“We’re happy to welcome Howard into our family, and we wish them all the best in their new life together,” Joe and wife Dr. Jill Biden, said in a statement released by the vice president’s office.

 

As for the honeymoon, a family source tells People that Howard, 45, will surprise Ashley, 30, with their destination — we can’t wait to see where he’ll take her!
