Kelsey Grammer's Wedding Details

KelseyGrammer_250

As of Friday, Kelsey Grammer is married, again. And the details about his lavish nuptials to Kayte Walsh are starting to emerge. The ceremony took place on a (typically) rainy Friday afternoon on the Broadway stage at Longacre Theater in NYC, where Kelsey once performed, reports PopEater.

The actor recently completed a year-long stint in "La Cage aux Folles" on the same stage where he said "I do" for the fourth time -- even using props from the show as his wedding decor. The ceremony, which consisted of the couple reading poems aloud they each had written, was officiated by Kelsey's "La Cage" co-star, Terry Lavell.

Kate said her I dos (this is her first marriage) in a cream-colored silk sleeveless gown with an embellished bodice and straps reportedly designed by Peter Langner. Members of the bridal party, which included Kayte's sister and Kelsey's daughters, wore black dresses and Christian Loubitin heels. Groomsmen for Kelsey included his brother and son Jude; while Kelsey's close friend, Carl DeGersdorff, served as his best man.

Following the ceremony, dinner was held at Manhattan's swanky Plaza hotel in the historic Grand Ballroom. The celebrations setting, which was designed by Ed Libby, was said to be "gorgeous" and "very classy" according to one insider. "It wasn't too much and it wasn't too little. They definitely did it right," the wedding guest tells PopEater.

So what was the decor like? Gold lounge furniture was used in place of dinner tables, and throughout the night friends and family filled up the dance floor to music from a DJ. "They seemed so genuinely in love and happy. They were dancing with each other the whole time, and seemed to be having a lot of fun together, really a part of the festivities," said one guest. (Let's hope for Kelsey's sake, it stays that way).

The wedding cake, designed by celebrity baker Sylvia Weinstock was almost 5 feet high. After the cutting, the couple made a speech to the guests, revealing how they fell for one another; during a flight to New York, where Kelsey was a passenger and Kayte was a flight attendant. The duo quietly slipped out just before the celebrations ended, reports People.com.

Michelle Williams' Vintage Style

Michellewilliams_2

Michelle Williams looked stunning as always on the red carpet tonight wearing a capped-sleeve all-over beaded gown from Chanel. We love the fitted but conservative styles that we saw tonight at the Oscars -- and this gown was no exception. That's why we picked this modest, but gorgeous lace gown from Manuel Mota for Pronovias.

Two Ways to Steal Hilary Swank's Style

Hilary-swank-fillmore

Actress Hilary Swank looked positively statuesque in this strapless silvery gown, with feathers and a purple hem. Even though she's a seasoned pro when it comes to awards shows, she still managed to turn plenty of heads.

We decided her bridal look could go one of two ways -- you could go with the ostrich feathers, or the purple hemline. That's why we picked both this ethereal Elizabeth Fillmore gown and the show-stopping feathery gown from Oscar de la Renta. Which one would you pick for your wedding?

Reese Witherspoon Keeps It Classic

Reese_jennyyoo

Bride-to-be Reese Witherspoon kept things classic with this simple black and white dress and a high old-school ponytail. That's why we opted for a dress by Jenny Yoo for her bridal look-alike. It's a classic, simple silhouette, and just like Reese's gown, there's a slight trumpet flair just below the knee.

Natalie Portman's Ethereal Look

Natalie_portman_lesposa

Natalie Portman hit the red carpet fashionably late, but looking just as gorgeous as ever. We picked this draped, tip-of-the-shoulder gown from Le Sposa di Gio, a small Italian bridal designer, for her look alike bridal gown. The rouching, and soft silk chiffon goes perfectly with the flowing, ethereal look that Natalie (now visibly pregnant!) has on the red carpet.

Scarlett Johansson in Lace

Bethelis_scarlet_400

Scarlett Johansson took to the red carpet in a peek-a-boo cut out lace gown that showed off her curvy figure. While we love the way the lace looks on the red carpet with, even with a slight glimpse of her black bra (and I think her black thong from the back...) it might not work on the aisle.

That's why we picked this classic lace gown with a high collar from Beth Elis. Lots of stars this year opted for higher-necklines, and this wedding dress captures that look perfectly.

Hailee Steinfeld in Marchesa

Hailee_steinfeld

Cutie Hailee Steinfeld might be the world's luckiest 14-year-old tonight, as she attends the Oscars for the first time in a custom-made Marchesa gown. The dress is totally age-appropriate, and yet has a timeless elegance. Hailee, who co-starred in True Grit says that she actually sketched the dress herself and gave that to Marchesa, who made the gown for her. Love it? Why not try this Oscar de la Renta style, which captures the same playful length. While the colors are a little different, we think the fun, light-hearted feel to both dresses gets the right mood across.

Mandy Moore Steps it Up in Monique

Mandy_moore_monique

Mandy Moore hit the red carpet tonight looking all grown up in this gorgeous gown from Monique Lhuillier. The illusion neckline, the crystal details and the modified A-line are all so of-the-moment! And that color just looks lovely with her skin tone. Love it? Then try this bridal version, also from Monique Lhuillier.

Stay tuned, there's more to come as we search to find the perfect bridal look-alike for these red carpet stunners.

Jennifer Lawrence in Calvin Klein

Jenniferlawrence_500

Newcomer Jennifer Lawrence looks effortlessly stunning in this gorgeous red sheath dress made specifically for her Oscar debut from Calvin Klein Collection. With just a simple bangle, loose curls and killer heels, she's set the bar pretty high for being the first one down the red carpet. Jennifer is nominated for best leading actress for her dramatic role in the film "Winter's Bone."

This sheath style gown with the cutout back looks similar to this gown we found from Nicole Miller -- chic, body-hugging, and a classic style, a perfect way to take Jennifer's gown style to the aisle.

Stay tuned for more... the stars are just starting to hit the carpet now!

Oscars Red Carpet Fashion - Tonight!

Anne_franco_240

We're just under 30 minutes until the official kick off of the Oscars pre-show -- where all of the biggest stars will walk the red carpet, and of course, we'll bring their red carpet style into something aisle worthy.

As for right now? Really loving the chick gray number that Kelly Osborne is wearing (she'll be co-hosting tonight on E! -- love her!), you could almost turn that white and instantly have it be wedding ready. I'm also really looking forward to what Anne Hathaway will wear as she hosts the show tonight (along with James Franco, seen at right). It's all coming up soon, so stayed tuned!
