"Bachelorette" Season Finale: Ali's Engaged!
If you had to TiVo last night's season finale of the "Bachelorette," don't read any further!
But in case you have been reading the headlines from today, it's no surprise that Ali Fedotowski got engaged! The "Bachelorette" star accepted a proposal from Roberto Martinez, the 26-year-old insurance agent from South Carolina, reports E! Online. People.com says Martinez popped the question with a sparkly, 3-carat asscher-cut Neil Lane ring worth about $50,000.
Ali threw viewers a curveball by rejecting fellow finalist Chris Lambton before the infamous rose ceremony, saying that she was in love with someone else. Ouch.
But this is hardly the first time the bubbly blond has received criticism. Over the course of her “Bachelorette-hood” the media lambasted Ali for apparently choosing to remain single, according to the LA Times blog. Just last week rumors swirled that Ali felt pressured to accept a proposal from one of her hunky bachelors.
Fortunately, she seems to be on the road to happily-ever-after now. The bride-to-be says she plans to wed in the spring, according to USmagazine.com.
So you tell us, what do you think about Ali's choice? Take our poll below!
