Augusta Jones

Our first show of the morning was from the amazing Augusta Jones. And though it may have been early, these gowns were worth getting out of bed for! The collection is based around island getaways and the sun, and combines soft fabrics and flower details for a light, feminine feel (we're thinking Caribbean destination weddings, anyone else?)

We love the Cyd gown (middle photo) which features a deep V-neck at the front, alcenon lace and beading along the neckline with a chapel train. This would be perfect for the bride who wants nothing but high elegance for her big day.

We also loved the final showstopping gown, which she showed in her collection, Skye (left photo). I love the unusual neckline (a halter top!) which is all Chantilly lace, plus a fit and flare shape that spreads into a chapel length train. The halter top can also be detached for a new look at the reception. We're loving the newer necklines that we've spoted today.
