Vera Wang Shows Her Dark Side

“The Bride Wore Black” is what bridal designer darling Vera Wang dubbed her Ready to Wear Fall 2010 collection, but despite the name, there wasn’t a wedding dress in the mix.

Not to worry, though: we fell in love with the line anyway for its sophisticated silhouettes and rehearsal dinner-worthy little black dresses. Plus, we think any bride (even one in white!) can take a glamor cue from Wang by layering on an extra strand of pearls or two and even wrapping them around the wrist.

A Snooki-Inspired Bride?

Little “Jersey Shore” star Snooki may actually be influencing couture designers! Seriously.

Just look to Vera Wang’s recent Fashion Week show where models were wearing major poufs that definitely reminded us of the much talked-about reality star. With couture runways usually influencing wedding fashion trends, we can’t help but wonder if 2010 brides will actually be pulling a Snook.

Celebrity Fashion: Hilary Duff’s Wedding Style

We’ve heard that the star of the 2004 film, A Cinderella Story, is officially on her way to her own “happily-ever-after” with new fiancé, Edmonton Oilers player Mike Comrie.

We know what you’re thinking -- “what will she wear?!” Well, we’ve got some ideas. Check out our picks below and share your thoughts!

The Dress:
Hilary is always showing off her great figure on the red carpet, so we wouldn’t be surprised if she walked down the aisle in this form-fitting Priscilla of Boston sheath.

The Hair:
We’re picturing a classic bridal updo with a bit of height at the top, but a half-up ‘do with loose, romantic curls would look equally as stunning.

The Jewelry:
We’d love to see Hilary skip the necklace with this strapless gown and instead, opt for show-stopping earrings and an eye-catching crystal cuff.

The Shoes:
The finishing touch to Hilary’s glamorous bridal look: A pair of glitzy stilettos, like these satin, embellished sandals.

Nicole Richie & Joel Madden's Wedding Style

Fashionista Nicole Richie is engaged to Joel Madden!!

Sigh—we still remember when she was causing trouble on The Simple Life with Paris Hilton.

But together for over three years and the parents of two beautiful children -- Sparrow James Midnight, 5 months; and daughter Harlow, 2 -- they are finally making it official.

Now for the fun part! Seeing how they pull off the big day -- with style, of course.

Here are a few of our predictions for the Richie/Madden wedding:

(1) Sparrow and Harlow are going to be in the wedding party -- although that’s a no-brainer!
(2) Nicole will be designing her own dress.
(3) They’ll create a charity wedding registry where guests can donate money to the Richie-Madden Children’s Foundation. (Psst. Did we mention that WeddingChannel.com offers two ways to help your favorite charity when you register?)
(4) Nicole will go back to being a blonde for her wedding day.
(5) Joel (and maybe his brother) will write and sing a song for Nicole during the reception.

Accessories: Who wore it best? Mya Versus Kate Hudson

We love both of these stars’ dress styles for their wedding gown inspiration: Mya dazzled at the Grammy’s and Kate Hudson looked chic at the Golden Globes. But what about their accessories? Look a little closer, because we’ve spied a trend: red polish worn with a chain link cuff! Mya’s sparkling chain link bracelet is very similar to Kate Hudson’s Stephen Russell diamond cuff and it almost looks like both of them went to the same manicurist!

Bells will soon be ringing for When in Rome costars and longtime duo Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard. Flaunting her engagement ring on the red carpet at the Grammy Awards, Kristen said “yes!” to her emerald cut diamond over Dax’s holiday proposal.

People describes the ring as, "...a fancy-colored emerald cut diamond that is over 3 carats, set in platinum with small white diamond accents."
