Katy Perry and Russell Brand Engaged In Less Than Six Months: DO or DON'T?

Pop star Katy Perry and beau comedian Russell Brand are headed to the altar. The pair, who met in September at the MTV Video Music Awards have been smitten since day one, being photographed all over the globe looking oh-so-happy in love. It was apparently love at first sight for these two who got engaged over the holidays. Nothing specific yet on how or when Brand popped the question, but it’s been confirmed Perry has a pretty rock to show for it. The pair spent the holidays vacationing in India – a gift to her from him! (See a pic from the trip she shared via Twitter below!)

We don’t know about you, but we’re psyched to see what wedding style tricks these two have up their sleeves? This could be the coolest wedding since Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale’s, no? Funny man and actor Vince Vaughn married love Kyla Weber on Saturday near his hometown of Chicago, his rep tells People. The two made it official in an intimate ceremony in front of a few close family and friends at a historic mansion. It’s the first marriage for both. Congrats you two!

Idol Alum Jason Castro Says “I Do” (And Mom Spreads the Word on Twitter!)

You won’t have to wait on the next issue of People or Us Weekly to get a peek at American Idol 7 alum Jason Castro's big day with new bride Mandy Mayhall. According to the latest buzz on Twitter from guests who attended and local area papers, the pair made it official on Saturday in Dallas Texas (his hometown). On Sunday Castro tweeted: "Yesterday I married the girl of my dreams. It couldn't have been more perfect! Now, honeymoooon!!!”. His mother couldn’t wait to post TwitPics of the beautiful bride. Mama Castro shared this one and tweeted: “Let me introduce you to my new daughter ..... Isn't she lovely?” Aww!

Castro proposed on Halloween while the two were dressed as Beauty and the Beast, and confirmed their engagement in November, reports People. Castro chose a low-key bachelor party, playing pool and poker and going bowling.
