The "Bride Wars" Premiere: 4 Reasons to Go See the Movie

Last night the ladies of CWB hopped a cab over to New York’s Lincoln Center for the Bride Wars premiere. We watched stars Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway stroll down the red Tiffany-blue carpet, got a sneak peak at the film (in theaters this Friday), and left excited to tell you ladies why it’s worth you (and your bestie’s) 10 bucks. 

That’s right, we’re giving you the green light on this one, girls. Grab your maid of honor (or the whole bridal party), order some popcorn and a soda, then spend an hour and a half in wedding wonderland with the movie’s two passionate brides-to-be.  Here, we offer, four reasons why you won’t be sorry you listened to us:

1. Whether you’re on Team Anne or Team Kate, you’re in for at least two “take that” moments that will lift you out of your chair.

2. The film serves as the only guide you’ll need on “How Not to Treat Your Friends and Co-Workers While Planning a Wedding.”

3.Kate and Anne’s character’s have very different bridal styles – Kate being more modern, while Anne’s a traditional bride all the way --  so if you’re looking for style inspirations, this movie is double the fun.

4. Girl power! Kate didn’t just star in the film, she produced it too. Show those big shot male studio types that women can make romantic comedies as well as, if not better than, the men! (Editor-in-Chief of The Knot, Carley Roney did -- doesn't she look stunning in that gold dress?)

Though you can’t see who wins this war until Friday (cause we’re not telling!), you can vote for your favorite gown now. So far Anne’s gown is in the lead!
