Josh Duhamel and Fergie’s Cartoon Wedding Invite

Las Vegas star Josh Duhamel and his new wife, Black Eyed Peas singer, Fergie, obviously have a great sense of humor – why else would they want to gift their guests with a goofy picture of themselves following their weekend wedding in Southern California. According to People, the couple approached Lehr & Black (a Los Angeles design agency that specializes in invitations and graphic design) to create a wedding caricature of themselves to hand out to their friends and family.

"Josh has a love for art," says Ellen Black, "and viewed it as giving away of piece of art."

Now we wouldn’t go as far to call this a masterpiece, but we do think it’s a shame that the couple limited this particular art project to just the bride and groom. We say why not make it a family affair and invite a wedding caricature artist to the big event? We did a simple Google search and found that there a dozens of caricature artists around the country that specialize in wedding artwork, which included everything from digital caricatures done before the big day, to artists who entertain at big events like engagement parties, bridal showers, and weddings.

While not everyone’s cup of tea, it is a fun and creative activity you can add to your special day – and ensure its memorable experience for your guests (you know, since they now have something new to hang on their wall!).
