Hot Celebrity Wedding Trends for 2009: Black Magic Roses

Cwb_roses_gw_250 Say bye-bye to lilies – these ethereal flowers are a little bit too mainstream for 2009’s bride. After a year filled with traditional roses, lilies, and hydrangea, celebrity brides and grooms like Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz and Good Charlotte’s Billy Martin and his wife, Linzi Williamson chose to go the dark and lovely route.

Black Magic Roses are obviously darker than an average red rose and look much fuller in comparison. Each blossom has around 30-40 petals and is season from spring to late fall, making it a perfect pick for most brides-to-be. The flower is said to symbolize beauty, love, and deep passion, making it an obvious choice for an evening wedding in a romantic setting.

Black Magic Roses are a beautiful dark red rose with a velvety texture. Black Bacarra is another even darker red/black rose. They are wonderful used together for a "tone on tone" color scheme. You can find both wedding rose varieties at www.freshrosepetals.com
