Low-Key Gift Idea for Your Groom
My guy is anything but dressy. As a matter of fact, after three years of dating, I only recently saw him in a suit for the first time (and that was only because he was forced to wear one for his best friend's wedding). If your future groom is anything like mine, you know a traditional wedding gift like cuff links, a money clip, or even a piece of jewelry just won’t do.
That's why I love the idea of customizing a pair of Converse Chuck Taylors in his honor. OK, wearing Chuck Taylors on your wedding day isn't exactly a new idea (after all, Lisa Ling’s husband and his groomsmen did for their Asian chic-inspired NYC nuptials), but it's the idea of personalizing them for him and him only that really had me at hello.
Pick your wedding colors (or just his favorites), and then take it a step further: Have them embroidered with his favorite music lyric, motto, or just a special message only he would appreciate. Trust me, it's a great feel-good memento of your wedding day he can continue to enjoy once the rice settles and he’s back in his favorite old t-shirt and jeans again.

Nice idea thank you for sharing!
