Howard Stern Marries Longtime Love at NYC Hotspot Le Cirque
Our favorite on-air funny-man got hitched on Friday night! A load of A-listers flooded into the doors of legendary NYC restaurant, Le Cirque (shown here) to watch Howard Stern marry his longtime love Beth Ostrosky, reports People.
Mark Consuelos (All My Children hunk and hubby to morning show queen Kelly Ripa) officiated the ceremony. Other celebrity guests included, Barbara Walters, Joan Rivers, Jimmy Kimmel and on-again/off-again love Sarah Silverman, Bill Joel (who sang two songs) and his wife Katie Lee Joel, Chevy Chase (who roasted the radio king at the reception) and Howard’s co-host Robin Quivers. The bride wowed in Marchesa.
"Beth is the most beautiful bride I've ever seen," Stern pal Dominic Barbara told the mag. (I’m Not Obsessed offers a sneak peek at the bride preparing for her wedding.) "The vows were from each others' hearts. It was gentle and soft and beautiful. People were crying."
This is the second marriage for the groom, 54, and the first for the bride, 36, who have been engaged since Valentine’s Day 2007, when Howard first announced his plans to marry to his fans during his live radio show. (He gave his lady a 5.2 carat diamond to seal the deal!)
If you’re a NYC bride, with a big budget, looking for a classy venue with history and reputation, you may also want to consider Le Cirque. It’s a 16,000 square foot French restaurant in Manhattan owned and operated by the Maccioni family, who also operate the Vegas location (located inside the Bellagio). The space, designed by famous architect Adam Tihany, is a study in steel and glass. The glass-enclosed aerie, an all-glass bar, and a custom-designed 27-foot steel and glass wine tower are some of its biggest accomplishment. The restaurant features a main dining room, a separate bar area, and a private event mezzanine suspended above the bar. For more information check out Le Cirque’s Private Party Planner.
