Add Star Power to Your Multi-Day Wedding Celebration Like Star Chef Daniel Bouley

Bouleyweddingsetup

One-day events hardly seem long enough for a dream wedding with a dress you never want to take off and friends and family giving you (and your fiancé) your moment in the spotlight. Having a multi-day wedding may require extra planning (and outfits!) but it also gives you a chance to keep the celebration alive!

Planning a destination wedding? It’s a good idea to have group activities for guests like a welcome cocktail reception to kick off the festivities.

Take a cue from celebrity chef Daniel Bouley who planned a 5-day wedding in France’s Loire Valley for 80 guests. (The breathtakingly beautiful photo you see here if from one of the dinners!) Bouley and his bride, Nicole Bartelme, who took over two chateaus for a week, played host to a moveable feast of unique organic haute-cuisine meals washed down with fine wines (including some from their birth years).

“In my career, I’ve done more than 400 weddings for other people,” Bouley said. “This one I really wanted to do right.”

Other celebs who have extended their weddings: Christina Aguilera (she even had a four day bachelorette party in Cabo!), TomKat and Eva Longoria-Parker and Tony Parker.
