Meet the Latest Vera Wang Bridal Barbie

Verawangbarbiedoll Most little girls adore Barbie (and Ken), and then as they get older that love evolves and they begin to daydream about finding their very own Prince Charming, and having their big wedding day. So, combining the fabulous style of premiere bridal designer Vera Wang with Barbie was both a smart and logical move for the people at Mattel. Meet the latest member of the Vera Wang Bride collectors’ family, The Romanticist Barbie. She sure is a beauty!  Her gorgeous trumpet gown was designed by Wang herself and her hair and makeup are classic and timeless. The Barbie was designed as a collector’s item for the true romanticist bride, for which “passion guides every decision, including her wedding gown.”

Jennifer Lopez famously doned a lace off-the-shoulder Vera Wang creation when she wed Marc Anthony in a surprise ceremony in June 2004. Meanwhile Jessica Simpson wore a meringue style Wang piece to walk down the aisle with Nick Lachey, and Sharon Stone wore a pale-pink, chiffon wedding dress by the designer. Uma Thurman, Mariah Carey, and Holly Hunter also make Wang’s celebrity bride list.

I stopped collecting Barbie a little over a year ago, but this doll might just bring me back! This gown is gorgeous...looks so much like mine!
