Jay-Z on Why He and Beyonce May Never Confirm Their Marriage

Beyonceandjayzlongkmwg_80023777 In the latest issue of Vibe magazine, Jay-Z speaks up about why he won't speak on his (still unconfirmed) marriage to Beyonce. Despite the paparazzi buzzing around their super secretive all-white loft "event" back in April, and some of their celebrity friends letting a public "congrats" or two slip, the hip-hop power couple have refused to confirm either way ever since. The matching "IV" (they "supposedly" married on 4/4/08) tattoos on their ring fingers say enough for most fans, but according to the rapper’s latest interview for the Vibe's 15th Anniversary Juice Issue, we may never get a straight answer from him.

In the issue he claims: “You have to have something sacred to you and the people around you. I shared so much of my life… I should have something to hold on to. I just think it's really a part of your life that you gotta keep to yourself."

That may be true, Jay-Z, but isn’t keeping your marital status completely under wraps taking the whole privacy thing a little too far? If I were the misses I’m not sure I’d agree with "possibly" being your wife for life. But, hey, that’s just my two cents. As always, I want to hear what YOU lovely brides have to say about it! Beyonce only married jazy for damn money and she knows this is the only reason she married him! All Virgo women ain't nothing but "GOLD DIGGERS!" Look how she got him wasting all of his dam money on buying up all of thses unecesary properties. She don't know the vaule of or to appreciate money period so I hope jazy realize this before his money eventually disappear. Look out jazy before the babies come becuase this will cost you a huge financial debt if you get this chick pregnant. You should have married a woman who knos the value of money and knows how to use it wisely. She using your money foolishly and keeping hers as if her money has no exsistance to you or your business as you being her husband!

It really is THEIR business. They don't have to ANNOUNCE to the WORLD that the are married. They are married to EACH OTHER!!! Only STUPID people keep asking the OBVIOUS question...EGG on the faces of people who thought they got married because Beyonce was PREGNANT!!!

All other normal people tell everyone when they get married. It's something to be happy or proud of. They can say "Yes, we're married," and then never mention another word about it. But to never even admit to it...what are they ashamed of. They complain about being celebrities and having no privacy. I have one thing to say....RETIRE. It's that simple. They wanted millions of dollars and to be famous, well...they got it. So deal with it and stop acting like it's such a burden. I'm sure it's not a burden when they are cashing in their millions. They got into this industry for a reason, if they don't like it they can always get out and become normal people again.

ok Beyonce you are not like every woman fine! but it doesn't mean you need to show your incompetence as an intelligent woman. Which woman would not feel proud to know that their husband is not ashamed to tell the world that your are his wife. All women loves their spouse to acknowledge them and it can go both ways unless the couple has some unresolved issues that includes other parties.You should not be selfish in sharing your happiness with your fans because they attributed in making you who you are today. More well wishers means happier days within your marriage and the rest must remain private, remember you came from a christian background GOD DON'T LIKE SELFISHNESS UGLINESS and NEITHER HYPOCRACY!!!!.

I think that there are parts of your life that should be private. What kind of people are we to want to know everything about celeberties. It's said that you shouldn't go snooping around or you might find what you're looking for. Let them have their secrets cause I know a lot of us there have things that we wouldn't want to get out.

I understand keeping your married life private but if I were the Bride not announcing that I am now the wife would not have happened. To announce the union is one of the highlights. Will and Jada are surviving and we hardly know anything more than they want to share. So I think Jay-z still wants to keep his playa card in his pocket.

I understand keeping you married life private, however, keeping whether or not you are married or not is kind of childish. We all pretty much know that they are, so why continue to play games with it? Really, I could care one way or the other if they are.

Kudos to J and B. Being Secretive is what has kept their relationship so strong all these years. I love them both and I totally understand them keeping it private. Being Big star entertainers like J and B, they cannot take any risk, so they are careful. Keep your privacy.

I understand wanting to keep your personal life- personal; however, being married is public. Considering it is a manner of public records, not to mention that it is pretty obvious! I think regardless if they confirm or not, people pretty much know they are married!

Well I understand wanting to keep things sacred, however, Jay Z must not fully understand what makes a marriage sacred. What makes marriage sacred is full committal, something Jay certainly has troubles with. That we know from what we hear of him on wax. He can put the fact that he struggles with commitment on public record. But when seemingly he has conquered that phobia he struggles to announce that he is passed that boyish struggle. B needs to tell that man to knuckle up!

I don't see any problem to say to the world that you are married... it's a common thing, it's part of life. What's the problem announce that you married to somebody??? As far as I heard JZ's interviews and the way he behaves, my impression is that he is not committed to Byonce. It seems he always want to be seen as the "good catch" or the "cool bachelor" and Byonce is only a good accessory he keeps around just to show the world that he can get all the beautiful women in the world. It seems that he doesn't love her. I heard a radio interview that made me disgusted in the way that he handles this relatioship.
Beyonce is gorgeous, she should find a man who really loves her and is proud to announce to the world that he got "the one" in his life and the doors now are closed. It seems that JZ doesn't want to close the doors yet, that's why he doesn't announce his marriage, otherwise he will have to behave in a different way, and it seems that he doesn't want to.

I know why they want to keep it personal espcially with all the celebs selling their children's photos and their life stories to mags.

I think celebs have it hard because I love all the gossip and I purchase all the mags. So I know it may be slightly hard to keep a low profile when paps are following you everywhere!
So go on Jay-Z and B and keep your life a secret! I know you got married and the world knows you got married, if it makes you feel better to keep it to yourself.. so be it!

i think they are smart to keep it private. The real booming couples have always had reporters and nosey people take part in ruining marriages or relationships. they are out to be happy and not risk getting it ruined by outside influences. Beyonce is one of the few only icons left that does not have trash talked about her with one snap of her every month.
