Castle Wedding Venues

Castle_2 Fairytale weddings demand the perfect backdrop, which means a long flowing white dress and a cool castle setting go hand-in-hand. While stars like Madonna and Guy Ritchie, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes and Eva Longoria and Tony Parker have all shared their "I do's" in ancient foreign battlements, you don't have to travel quite as far to channel your own princess bride aspirations.

Looking for a hot property? Thornwood Castle in Lakewood, Washington is beautiful and famous. The Tudor-style manor was featured in the Stephen King TV movie Rose Red, and includes a bed and breakfast on site as well as additional wedding facilities.

Head down California's Pacific Coast Highway and you'll eventually encounter a modern-day Camelot when you hit San Simeon. Hearst Castle is the perfect back-drop for West Coast wedding couples looking for glamour and splendor on their wedding day…with a small catch: All personal events on the premises require an educational tour of the property.

Kansas isn't only known for its cornfields. The Castle Inn Riverside in Witchita, Kansas boasts a 275 year-old staircase, a 700-year-old Grecian fireplace and is located on the banks of the Little Arkansas River. Built in 1888, the Inn offers up Victorian elements like a billiards room and grand piano while maintaining modern amenities like multiple jacuzzi suites.

Louisiana Castle is one of the most recent additions to the United States castle contingent. Built in 1999 as a private residence, the castle was actually modeled after England's Norman Keep Castle. The property was later sold, repurchased and renovated into a premiere wedding event space. The castle now includes a ballroom, spa, pond, outdoor sound system for garden weddings and romantic Juliet Suite for overnight guests.

Drink and be merry at  New York's Belhurst Castle in Geneva, New York.  Once an Indian village in 1738, the site is now a privately owned business enterprise that boasts three distinct inns, a restaurant, award-winning winery and beautiful lakeside wedding services.

I love the picture of Heart castle. It really a great place for a wedding. Very romantic. And the scenery at the pool there is beautiful.
