Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell Celebrate One-Year Anniversary
What do you buy for a couple that celebrated their "I do's" with a country-style ho-down? In the case of Ugly Betty star Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O'Connell, the traditional paper gift is out and quality time together is in, the former Stand By Me star tells People.
O'Connell (who is currently shooting a new FOX show in L.A. while his wife works on her comedy series in New York), explains to the mag that he and his wife spend a lot of time e-mailing and texting to stay close. "[We] just enjoy walking around, eating at outdoor restaurants" and hanging with O'Connell’s parents at their Long Island home, says the actor.
As far as plans for this year's celebration are concerned, O'Connell says the low-key couple won't be making headlines.
"I wish I had something sexy and all Brangelina to tell you where we're going to go flying," he says. "But it's really just going to be my in-laws crowding us."
