"Mamma Mia!" Must-Have Wedding Gown

Mamamiastill_3

Batman may have ruled the box office this weekend, but it's Mama Mia! that has the online bridal community all atwitter. Apparently the wedding dress worn by actress Amanda Seyfried is a big hit with many brides-to-be. "It's gorgeous and I would love to re-make it for my own wedding!" comes the comments from desperate brides on Yahoo! Answers.

The stunning Grecian gown was actually created by Academy Award-winning costume designer Ann Roth, who according to production notes, "delved into and imagined each character's background (from what their apartments would look like to their salaries) and came up with their costumes, down to the tiniest details."

Sadly, the dress doesn't exist beyond the big screen, but eager brides can still snag a similar silhouette from retro-inspired bridal designers like Claire Pettibone and Alice Temperley.

(ABBA soundtrack not included.)

No matter how much he would like to end with bridesmaids dresses, there is nothing we can do about it, unless if you are running away or do not have a maid of honor to witness the wedding.

The wedding dresses is stunning and charming, special is veil.
The veil is made of tulle and lace. These veils are quite pricey and can become wrinkled or creased if not hung properly. The process of steaming a veil will require 10 minutes, a steam machine, and a hanger. Learning how to steam a wedding veil properly will eliminate all unwanted wrinkles and ensure a picture-perfect appearance on wedding day.

Nice wedding dress, Greek style but I would prefer to wear a Vera Wang gown or a Monique Lhuiller creation.
